General Functions:
This role has broad responsibility for accomplishing complicated technical assignments. The assignment may require individual authority for a full development life cycle, or participation in a team on larger development initiatives.
The Senior Developer reports to a project manager or product development manager.
Individuals in this position are considered as experts in the technologies they use, and are looked to for recommendations and guidance in the delivery of software solutions. Working with limited supervision, they will design and develop efficient systems to meet the client and corporate needs.
Specific Duties:
Design and create software applications in accordance to business requirements, specifications, and development policies and standards. This includes:
Translate business requirements into application specifications
Develop and document specifications
System / application testing and validation
Review project status with management and clients
Participate in client meetings and fact finding sessions
Troubleshoot and rapidly resolve systems problems
Perform complex and critical research and analysis exercising considerable latitude in approach

Solid comprehension of a Windows programming environment, including C#, Visual Basic 6.0, XML, ASP.Net, and SQL Server

Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization or clients
Detail and results oriented attitude
Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team
