We are searching for the absolute best Java architect for an exciting new web product. Opportunities like this rarely occur – you will be on the ground floor of a well-financed start up company, with opportunity for equity!!

The Position
The company has successfully prototyped a revolutionary new technology, and is now building the commercial application to take to market. You will be working with other highly successful leaders in the technology industry! One layer is Java-based, high transaction web technology. The firm is being built here in Indianapolis, and will soon be very well known. This is an incredible chance for the “best and brightest” to make their mark.
Responsibilities:
Applications design and development of web technologies, using a Java framework for high volume, asynchronous, multi-threaded applications
Responsible for full life cycle development
Serve as a technical resource to other staff members

Requirements:

The "Best" Candidate
This role requires someone who wants to take ownership of important software development. The ideal person will have these qualifications:
Technical skills:
Object oriented design and programming experience with Java 1.5 (preferred, can consider 1.4), RCP, and Eclipse plug-ins
Solid understanding of Design Patterns
Experience or knowledge of developing high volume applications with a complex UI
Experience with C++ is beneficial
Other traits:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field; Master’s degree in Computer Science is ideal
A positive, "Get it done" attitude
Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments
