Our client has an immediate need for a Sr. Software Engineer. We are seeking someone who is passionate about agile development, web services/SOA and scalability. If you think EC2, REST, S3 and a master-master replicated MySQL database is the right way to scale a site (or can intelligently argue why thats NOT the right way to scale a site) then this is the job for you.
In this role you will:Design, architect, and build an N-Tier, highly available, service oriented architecture.
Utilize and suggest open source tools
Develop software primarily for the middle tier |

A background is needed in:
OO Design and Development
Web services; i.e., SOAP, JSON, XMLRPC
Compiled and interpreted languages (C++, Java, Perl, etc.)
Design patterns, Build tools, SQL |
