Your Role:
Lead and participate in large-scale, cross-functional projects in accordance with best practices for project management. Responsibilities include: establish and manage project schedules and budgets; establish and monitor project control criteria (e.g. key performance metrics); analyze business processes and client business needs; facilitate meetings and document requirements; manage the project plan; plan resource requirements; proactively identify and manage project risk; and providing current and accurate reporting.
This role also requires an experienced professional who can analyze business processes, determine potential gaps or opportunities for improvement, and then formulate long term and short term solutions. Responsibilities will encompass requirements facilitation, process modeling and documentation, work-flow analysis, planning, and change management. The individual will collaborate with people at levels varying from business users to company executives.
Specifics:
Leverage analytic skills to evaluate business opportunities, problems and inefficiencies, research and propose options, and recommend business process improvements through process re-engineering and technology.
Understand business priorities and objectives along with the life sciences industry in general.
Learn and understand all aspects of the respective business functions and applications.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of project management best practices, be able to contribute to the continual improvement of the processes and help internalize these practices.
Review project status with senior/executive management focusing on financials, schedules, issues, and risks, with plans to address variances.
Conduct requirements gathering sessions.
Develop business requirements, business processes, and functional design documents.
Assist with development & implementation of metrics and standards of best business practices.
Build relationships with client team members, and manage client expectations.
Identify and pursue additional business opportunities within clients.
Understand the value proposition of the projects, and seek to enhance that value.

Requirements:

Qualifications:
Prior experience in project management and business analysis.
Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree is a plus.
Knowledge of the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries is preferred. Experience with FDA requirements highly desired (FDA 21 CFR Part 11)
Ability to identify key objectives, risks and drivers and create plans to manage these elements. Demonstrated ability to gather, interpret and present complex data.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; ability to gain consensus through mediation/collaboration.
Excellent oral and written skills, including ability to communicate effectively with executive management.
Proficient in project management applications (esp. Microsoft Project) as well as Microsoft Office.
Project management certification is strongly preferred (PMP).
Able to travel as required.
