Job Duties:
|
Build the webforms that interface our high-performance, high-usage web application
Create reusable components, including ASP.NET base pages and custom web controls
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (requirements analysis, high level design, detailed design, coding, unit test, integration, system level test)
Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of the system design within time and cost constraints
Provide technical leadership for the development team(s) and act as a mentor for engineers and others
Interface with both internal and external customers
Collaborate with other software architects and product managers on product directions
Lead user interface definition sessions from concept to delivery. Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and functional prototypes of proposed solutions.

Requirements:
|
The ideal will candidate will possess the following:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
5+ years experience developing web-based software, User Interface Design, Interaction Design, Usability, Information Architecture
Understanding of W3C standards and experience in addressing cross-browser and platform compatibility issues.
CSS, XML, XHTML proficiency.
Proficiency in developing against deployed Web Services (SOAP, JSON, REST, XML-RPC)
Experience with .Net C# 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, Web Services, WCF, ASP.Net in production systems.
Expertise in W3C compliance requirements and cross browser compatibility with IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome
Strong understanding of software usability and visual design principles
Proven experience with Ajax, JavaScript, JavaScript libraries, Visual Studio 2008
