Before we begin a search for any position, we need to have a well-defined job description. A job description should contain the following items:

  • the duties and responsibilities of the position
  • the amount of education both required and preferred
  • the amount of experience both required and preferred
  • the technical skills required
  • the inter-personal skills needed, and
  • a description of the company's culture
